The Boobs – pure emotions that don’t lie. Crossing Over is the soul of the Blues or blues of the Soul – sincere, genuine sentiments like Bria’s  (“The Bridge”) voice; fascinating, undefinable. The Trio offers you a touch of melancholia and an irresitable urge to move forward led by the straightforward Bria, the Aussie/Swiss, with her throaty, deep laugh that echoes in the night. After a 10-year stint, a long stretch with the reggae combo “Feedback”, she now emerges as the Diva of the 60’s Soul that blossoms in Crossing Over.

Delicately arranged by the Trio, 2 x 6 strings of Ali and Steve’s guitars, carry Bria’s warm and powerful voice. You’ll shiver with delight – you’ll smile and want to sing with no reason.

Crossing Over is a “bandage” album, says solid Bria, scalded by life, but whose trials are now softening. From Mrs. Jones to Crossing Over – she sings transformation, tolerance but mostly hope.

Born around a cold pint of beer, The Boobs is the story of a friendship and a desire to mix Bria’s “Soul” to Ali and Steve’s “Rock” – epicureans whose military service in the 90’s came to fruition revealing composers in them. Expressing a deep Rock philosophy, they founded the group “ Wok On”. Their compositions became the soundtracks for the skateboard videos of Caesar Productions. After their hard core Rock  years, meeting Bria gave birth to the “Rock’n’Soul” of the Boobs – double barrel word – up to you to choose the meaning !

Will the Bridge sing lying on the floor again as when she recorded “Break my Heart” ? No one knows… One thing is for sure, she will touch your heart and The Boobs will take you away…
